RE: Stained Cassette Toilet

I would try one of those Mr. Clean Magic Erasers. I've been amazed at the stains those things can remove!

RE: Four Winds Model Differences

I've always understood that Chateau, Dutchmen and Four Winds were all exactly the same except for colors. A step down from those in terms of levels of equipment and price would be the Chateau Sport, Dutchmen Express and Four Winds 5000.

RE: 3 M tape glue

3M Adhesive Remover seems like the logical choice to remove 3M tape residue. I got mine at WalMart.

RE: New 4.4L Diesel for F150

I was surprised to read that it will be a V8. For some reason I guess I assumed that the new light duty diesels would be V6's. It will also be interesting to find out how much it costs to replenish the urea at each oil change.

RE: Can my Chevy Astro pull what I need it to?

I would ignore the dry weight and focus my attention on the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of the trailer.

Anyone use a Dodge Magnum/Charger for towing?

Does anyone here use a Dodge Magnum/Charger for towing. Their tow rating is 3,800 pounds with the tow package on the RT models. I would think that with their long wheel base, 5.7L engine and big brakes that they might make decent tow vehicles for pop-ups or small hybrids.

RE: #2 or TP in the potty?

I take my RV to hotels because I don't let anyone sleep in the RV. I refuse to make the bed every morning! :B

I would highly doubt that.

RE: How Not To Spend Christmas

I spent this past Thanksgiving with kidney stones. It was my first experience with them and your description of the pain is pretty accurate but in my case it was hits with a baseball bat that alternated between my back and groin!

RE: Class C: Extreme Heat in Cab

Check out this ford service bullentin. It sounds like they left the heat shield off the Cutaway chassis starting mid 2006.

I believe that bulletin refers to a heat shield formerly installed on the exhaust pipe above the rear axle, not in the engine compartment.

Smokeless Campfire?

Is there such a thing as a smokeless campfire? If so, someone please school me on how to build one because I obviously can't do it. I'm not talking about those campfires in a can either. I want a real woodburning, crackling, popping, dancing flames fire with no smoke or at least a minimum of smoke. Is there such a thing?
